I started my career as a copywriter and creative director in healthcare advertising, right as direct-to-consumer marketing was beginning to change the industry. After making Creative Director, I decided to step out on my own. In 2004, I founded Dola Talent with a pretty simple idea: help the many talented people I knew find the opportunities they deserved. It started with one agency client. Then it grew fast. Before long, I was placing full time talent across agencies and inside life sciences marketing and communications teams around the world.

A couple of years in, I realized something else (well someone asked). Companies did not just need help finding great people. They also needed help finding the right agencies, specialty partners and technology vendors to support their commercial work. And I knew first hand that the logo on the agency door only tells you one part of the story. It’s the people behind the pitch. Do they understand the business? The science? The brand? The budget? The culture? And should they even be pitching this business. Helping life sciences companies identify, vet and select the partners that were truly right for them became a massive part of Dola Talent.

Since 2004, Dola Talent has helped place more than 1,000 full-time professionals and contributed to more than $200 million in annual billings awarded to agencies and specialty partners.

In 2018, I co-founded Dola Media, an award-winning production company built around another thing I have always believed in: great stories matter. We set out to create documentary-style films, awareness campaigns and branded content designed to make complex ideas feel more human and that business continues that work today.

Through all of it, one thing has remained constant. The Network. Over more than two decades, I have built relationships with an incredible community of creative, strategic, client service and commercial leaders. People who are talented, experienced, curious and deeply invested in the work they do. Connecting great people with great companies, and helping both find the right fit.
